Weismueller was the best. That said the last 3 Gordon Scott movies, Tarzan & Lost Safari. Tarzan the Magnificent & Tarzan's Greatest Advenure started a more adult approach that continued with Jock Mahoney's 2 flicks. Unfortunatly we had to wait for Lambert's Tarzan to get another more adult look at the jungle King.

The best Tarzan's of all were Johnny Weissmuller and Ron Ely. Best ever Tarzan yell Carol Burnett!

Bruce Bennett) Closest to the original character from the books by Edgar Rice Burroughs) # 2 Gordon Scott (in his last two Tarzan movies 1959-1960) Miles O'Keeffe (just for looks, he's perfect) I also like Mike Henry, Denny Miller, Jock Mahoney, Casper van Dien. Christopher Lambert. Weissmuller was fun, but not my idea of Tarzan.
